Chromage

Chromage is a 2D topdown roguelike I developped in Game Maker. In it, the player has to overcome the trial of the dungeon in order to become a true mage.


The player can shoot, create a turret and use a special cast attack in order to deal damage. Each of those attacks can be infused with one of 6 elements which apply different effects on enemies. Further upgrades depending on those elements can be obtained, influencing your playstyle in various ways.


With a total of 48 unique upgrades, Chromage aims to make each run different in damage output but also croud control, survivability and enemy targeting.
